This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing operation, help build a strong local presence, and play an important role in the continued development of our sprinkler services throughout Georgia.Eagle Fire is seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector to join our growing team in Kennesaw, GA.This position is ideal for a well-rounded fire sprinkler professional who can perform inspections while also supporting service work and small construction or upfit projects. The immediate priority will be completing scheduled sprinkler inspections throughout the market. As inspection needs are addressed, this team member will transition into service calls, deficiency repairs, and small projects as needed.Because Eagle Fire is building a full-service sprinkler department in Kennesaw, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to the department's growth, strengthen relationships with local customers, and help expand our service capabilities across the region.The ideal candidate will offer:A strong combination of fire sprinkler inspection, service, repair, and installation experienceAt least two years of directly related experience, with five or more years strongly preferredNICET certification preferred, but not requiredBackflow certification or license preferredPrevious experience as a sprinkler technician, inspector, journeyman, or foreman preferredThe flexibility to travel to customer facilities and construction sites throughout the assigned marketEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough routine inspections of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, local codes, customer requirements, and Company proceduresComplete inspection documentation accurately and communicate identified deficiencies or recommended repairsPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective work resulting from service calls or inspection findingsSupport small construction, renovation, and upfit projects as assignedRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documentsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and Company quality and safety standardsIdentify and communicate material shortages, field changes, equipment concerns, and installation issues to supervisors in a timely mannerCoordinate work to minimize disruption to customer operations and project schedulesMaintain clean, organized, and safe customer and job sitesAccurately document completed work, materials used, inspection results, and project updatesBuild and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and other Eagle Fire team membersAssist in supporting and expanding Eagle Fire's sprinkler service capabilities within the Kennesaw and greater Georgia marketsParticipate in continuing education, licensing, and certification training as requiredFollow all Company safety policies and immediately report or address unsafe conditions and practicesMaintain a professional appearance and a positive, customer-focused attitudePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection, service, installation, or related fire protection work required; five or more years preferredEquivalent combinations of education, training, certifications, and relevant experience may be consideredWorking knowledge of applicable NFPA standards, fire codes, and fire protection industry practicesAbility to inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair fire sprinkler systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentsStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate trade-related tools and equipmentStrong organizational, communication, documentation, and customer service skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to changing field needsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordNICET certification preferredBackflow certification or license preferredJourneyman, foreman, technician, or inspection experience preferredAbility to obtain and maintain required certifications and licensesPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 70 poundsAbility to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and climb for extended periodsAbility to work safely at heights and in confined spacesAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, and physically demanding environmentsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to travel throughout the assigned market and stay overnight when requiredAbility to safely operate Company vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and industry-specific equipmentBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife and Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementNICET Testing Fee AssistanceApprenticeship and Professional Development OpportunitiesBoot ReimbursementCompany-Provided UniformsFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramDirect DepositIn compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, Eagle Fire maintains a drug-free workplace and operates a Drug-Free Workplace Program.
